City Of Troy Surges up the World Rankings

The Aidan O’Brien trained City Of Troy showcased his talent to perfection with a convincing victory in the 2024 Epsom Derby earlier this month. 
 
He is now rated at 123 alongside Rebel's Romance, who was a brilliant winner of the Group 1 Champions & Chater Cup at Sha Tin in May. Laurel River still tops the rankings on 128.

Labour’s Reforms Welcomed by the Betting Industry

The Labour Party’s pledge to collaborate with the betting industry on regulatory reforms has been given a seal of approval by bookmakers. 
 
Labour are expected to demolish the Conservative Party at the General Election on July 4 and they have vowed to proceed with reforms to the gambling sector. 
 
The news was welcomed by operators of land-based venues and online betting sites, who are committed to driving up standards in the industry. 

Genuis Signs Partnership Agreement with the IBIA

Genius Sports has boosted its efforts to promote global betting integrity by entering into a new partnership with the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA). 
 
The two organisations will work together to tackle match fixing by pooling their data, technology and sports betting account surveillance capabilities. 
 
The IBIA highlighted 56 instances of suspicious betting during the first quarter of the year, but is committed to bringing the total down to zero.
