PDC World Darts Championship 2025: Big Two Eyeing Semi-Final Clash

The 2025 PDC World Darts Championship has produced a ton of shock results. We look at the key betting angles to consider ahead of the third round.

The 2025 PDC World Darts Championship has delivered plenty of stunning moments, with several top players falling by the wayside in the first two rounds.

Michael Smith, Rob Cross, Gary Anderson and James Wade are among the major stars who have failed to book their places in the last 32 at the Alexandra Palace.

While their exits have sparked a shake-up in the outright market on UK betting apps, a couple of familiar names still dominate the landscape.

Highlights

  • Big two on course for semi-final showdown.
  • Price looks primed for a deep run.
  • Van Gerwen impossible to oppose in Quarter Four.

PDC World Darts Championship 2025 – Third Round Preview

Luke Littler and Luke Humphries remain on course to meet in the semi-finals and it is difficult to imagine either player not reaching that stage.

Littler is the 6/4 favourite to win the title on several new betting sites, while Humphries is rated as an 11/4 shot to claim the prize for the second successive year.

Humphries has a slightly trickier route to the last four, but should safely navigate his way through to set up a blockbuster clash with Littler.

Several talented players have made it through to the round three in the third quarter of the draw including Gerwyn Price.

The Welshman produced an excellent performance to defeat Keane Barry 3-0 in the previous round and he will fancy his chances of making further progress.

Odds of 11/4 on UK betting sites to win his quarter of the draw look tempting and can form the first half of a tasty double.

Michael van Gerwen is impossible to oppose at odds of 10/11 to win the fourth quarter and set up a semi-final meeting with Price.

Darts fans may view the 20/1 on offer for Humphries to face Price in the final as good value, although Littler and Van Gerwen may have something to say about that.
