Betting Trends for the Juddmonte International Stakes

City Of Troy will put his ‘wonder horse’ status to the test when he lines up in the prestigious Juddmonte International Stakes at York on Wednesday. 
 
Trainer Aidan O’Brien has made no secret about how highly he rates the son of Justify and his comments have forced horse racing betting sites to take evasive action.

O’Brien’s charge did not please everyone with the manner of his victory in the Eclipse Stakes at Sandown, but the long straight at York should be more to his liking. 
 
With White Birch swerving the race, City Of Troy is the only horse in the field with a rating of 120 or higher and he is strongly fancied to emerge victorious. 
 
Three other horses are listed at single figure odds and Alflaila appeals as the most likely of that trio to run into a place at York. 
 
He has previously run on the Knavesmire four times and won on the last three of those occasions, so could give City Of Troy plenty to think about. 
 
Trainer Owen Burrows believes the horse is capable of winning a Group 1, but he may have to settle for a place behind O’Brien’s charge on this occasion.
