The halfway point in the group stages is upon us in the Champions League and there are plenty of sides with work to do in order to book their place in the knockout rounds. Inter Milan take on RB Leipzig, with the German side struggling at the foot of the 36 team table, whilst PSG are in a similar predicament, as they travel to Bayern Munch. Europa League winners Atalanta have looked the part in the Champions League and a trip to Switzerland awaits next, as they take on Young Boys.
Inter Milan vs RB Leipzig – Inter Milan to win.
1/2 at Betzone
2023 finalists Inter Milan have been dealt some tough fixtures so far in this season’s Champions League and they have been able to produce the results thus far. Next up is the visit of RB Leipzig, with the Germans reeling after being beaten on the road at Celtic last time out. Consequently, Leipzig sit way off the pace and look to have work to do, just to reach the top 24 and in turn, the knockout rounds. However, Inter have been playing some good stuff, particularly at home and they should come out on top in this one.
Bayern Munich vs PSG – Bayern Munich to win.
13/20 at Rhino Bet
German giants Bayern Munich have won 2 and lost 2 of their opening 4 Champions League games this term and need to make a stride forwards under Vincent Kompany. PSG find themselves in an even worse funk, sitting outside of the top 4 sides as it stands and as a result, this feels like a huge game for both sides. The atmosphere in Bavaria should be electric, between two sides that will look to get the ball down and play some entertaining football, but Bayern should come out on top in front of their passionate home supporters.
Young Boys vs Atalanta – Atalanta to win.
4/7 at Fitzdares
Europa League holders Atalanta have a fearsome reputation as one of the most dangerous sides in Europe and they have been living up to it thus far in the Champions League. Next up for the side from Bergamo is a trip to Switzerland to take on Young Boys, with the hosts very much struggling in the Champions League this season. This in theory should be one-way traffic and whilst Young Boys won’t quite be a push over, Atalanta should pick up another win on their travels in this one.
