Tuesday’s race card line-up features exciting events across the UK at Beverley, Brighton, Newbury and Newton Abbot, which should open up plenty of potentially profitable avenues to explore. Yesterday, we enjoyed success with two of our three tips. See Me Through placed at Ballinrobe in the evening while Howzak was a winner at Chepstow in the afternoon. Best Tip #1: Spring Chorus – Beverley, 15:17
Spring Chorus was an 18/1 winner at Beverley just last month on what was her second outing for her current yard. She showed an excellent turn of foot on that occasion and she has moved up just 3lb in the ratings since.
Jessica Macey’s filly will have quicker ground to deal with this time, though there are still enough positives to make her a backable force again.
Online horse racing betting fans would also be wise to spare a thought for Lincoln Rockstar too. The 4-year-old did the business on her first race of 2024 at Beverley in late May and if that form can be recaptured, another solid effort could be in the pipeline.
Ski Jump, who has previous course experience, could also be in the fame as an each-way candidate.

Best Tip #2: Three Dons – Brighton, 16:42
Three Dons will compete under a 5lb penalty today, however, that increase is still light enough to think he might be dodging the handicapper and preference is for the red-hot 5-year-old to succeed again.
Three Dons won three of his last for races, all of which were over a similar trip and Tony Carroll’s charge, who hit the post first by more than three lengths at Lingfield when last seen, could do the business again.
Foinix meanwhile, could pose a challenge to Three Dons. Wins have been few and far between for the 4-year-old, however he has placed in seven out of eight starts since the turn of the year and he represents a reliable each-way opportunity.
French Martini is another who should be watched with interest as the markets develop.

Best Roughie: Daring Legend – Newbury, 18:40
Daring Legend is still finding his way for his new stable, however, Michael Appleby’s influence is likely to have an impact soon and the 3-year-old could be a mover at a big starting price on sports betting apps for today’s fifth race at Newbury.
Daring Legend won on AW at Newcastle in March and though his form since switching to turf has yet to turn, today could be the day.
Ureshii also has strong credentials and is expected to be a pace setter. Making his handicap debut today, he looks well-treated and the booking of Oisin Murphy in the saddle could provide a telling edge.
Shelbourne meanwhile, hasn’t been seen since April, though he’s already won a Class 5 Handicap Flat race this year (Catterick, Apr) and has it within him to push again.

Stats and Insights
- A heavy draw bias exists at Beverley and it’s pointed towards lower drawn numbers and horses drawn at the higher end generally have much more work to do. Trainers Tim Easterby and Richard Fahey have both lodged 30 or more wins at Beverley over the last five seasons.
- Quicker types can often have the edge at Brighton due to the sharp bends and nature of the setting there. Tony Carroll (44) has been the most prolific jockey at Brighton over the past five seasons in terms of total wins, though Eve Johnson Houghton, among others, has a better win rate (21%).
- Newbury offers horses a largely fair setting and galloping types can build up a head of steam there. Jockeys Oisin Murphy, William Buick and Jim Crowley have enjoyed plenty of success at Newbury and all three will be involved in today’s meeting.
