Thursday’s menu features tasty events at Fontwell, Southwell and Wetherby across the UK and with three more race cards to pick through, we’re confident of delivering some more profit to our readers. Yesterday, our trio of selections returned yet another two winners, including a 12/1 triumph when Chloe’s Court upset the odds to score at Wincanton. Let’s hope for more of the same today. Check out our latest horse racing betting tips below.
Best Tip #1: Dreaming Blue – Fontwell, 2.32
Dreaming Blue ran really well at Wincanton last time out before fading back to third late on, though the drop down in distance today should suit the 7-year-old more and he is taken to step up with blinkers on for the second time.
The addition of Freddie Gingell to the saddle could also impact his chances and Dreaming Blue is worth following up on at the best horse racing betting sites.
Jonjo O’Neill’s Copper Cover did well over hurdles in recent months and could also be a contender if things go his way on his second attempt at chasing.
Valirann Gold meanwhile, has a win at Fontwell under his belt already this year over a slightly longer trip and though he moves up a grade today, he is considered a possibility.

Best Tip #2: Suspicion – Southwell, 6.00
Suspicion made good on his potential to score at Kempton on February 28th over a mile and Ollie Sangster’s 3-year-old could be ready to follow that win up with another at Southwell today.
There is a 6lb increase to factor in, however, his effort last month over C&D four weeks ago really caught the eye and he should be difficult to stop here.
Vibrato could be the one to offer some competition from the bigger prices. The son of No Nay Never shared the same race as Suspicion at Kempton last month and mixed it well before eventually finishing fourth.
With that test behind him, an improvement could be in the works and the 3-year-old is shaping up like a decent each-way option.

Best Roughie: Jeune Prince – Wetherby, 5.40
The last race at Wetherby has a competitive look today, but spare a thought for Jeune Prince in the 5.40, who could defy a big price to make a proper push.
The 5-year-old went to fourth place on his debut at Carlisle last month, though the half-brother to two winners should progress fast under the instruction of Miss Lucinda V Russell and a better showing looks possible.
Dangerous Touch and Martin Plage have been getting the most attention on the best betting apps, however. The former swapped hands in December for £135,000 which highlights the untapped potential in his legs while the latter is also relatively unexposed.
Martin Plage hasn’t run since hitting fourth place at Sandown in November, though he looked sharper to finish in third at Cheltenham a month before that and is a player on that form.

Stats and Insights
- The track at Fontwell runs in a figure-eight shape, which means horses will have both right and left-handed turns to navigate. For that reason, the nippier types can excel over the long striders. Jockey Sam Twinston-Davies has a superb 48% win rate at Fontwell this season.
- Southwell is relatively flat and narrow, so horses with extra zip can hit the front early. The final flourish is just under a furlong from the post, so we need our tips to be involved at the last. Trainer Hugo Palmer has won five of his ten races at Southwell this term.
- The circuit at Wetherby is a fair setting and the lengthy straights can be eaten up by gallopers. Trainer Jamie Snowdon is the one to watch out for at Wetherby. He has a 50% strike rate there so far this season. Similarly, Kerry Lee has three wins from five efforts there.
