Friday’s race card features events at Haydock, Newmarket, Wolverhampton, Worcester, Dundalk and Listowel across the UK and Ireland, and with numerous angles to weigh up, we’re determined to land some profit for our readers before the weekend. View our latest horse racing betting tips for Friday’s action below.
Best Tip #1: Marble Angel – Dundalk, 18:45
Hattrick-chasing Marble Angel could be the one to back again in the fifth race of the day at Dundalk. A winner on each of her last two outings over C&D at Dundalk, Andy Oliver’s filly has Wayne Hassett and his 5lb claimer in the saddle and despite being handed a tricky draw, she has the legs to get across here.
Marble Angel could take some beating here and offers value in terms of price on online horse racing betting sites.
Rock Etoile meanwhile, is also shaping up as a possible contender. A winner over C&D at Gowran Park six days ago, the 6-year-old also delivered the goods on his last visit to Dundalk on August 15th.
A 9lb rise is a significant bump, however, Rock Etoile could defy that increase to launch another bold bid.

Best Tip #2: Ice Max – Newmarket, 15:35
Ice Max saw off a challenge from today’s rival Poker Face to claim the spoils in the Celebration Mile at Goodwood in late August and that was his third win in five outings for KR Burke.
The 3-year-old who possesses stamina to burn, carries a 5lb increase into today’s test, however, the uphill finish at Newmarket could suit and Ice Max gets the nod to prevail again.
John & Thady Gosden’s Lead Artist gave last month’s Celebration Mile a miss, though a record of 2-1-3-1-2 from five races before that was a solid return and the in-form charge could be thereabouts again here.
A run to second at Doncaster in a Class 1 race 13 days ago was a nice warm up and Lead Artist could be open to further progression today.

Best Roughie: Roaring Ralph – Wolverhampton, 18:00
Roaring Ralph is priced generously on the best betting apps in the UK to make a splash at Wolverhampton today and the 4-year-old could have what it takes to make an impact.
A winner on two of his last four starts at Ayr and Southwell respectively, Roaring Ralph didn’t quite cut the mustard when last seen at Wolverhampton earlier this month, though he returns with a 3lb lower rating and could improve on his fifth-place finish.
Elsewhere, Darryll Holland’s Dutch Kingdom is another name for your shortlist. The five-time AW winner, his last success was a comfortable triumph at Chelmsford on September 19th and he is a very cosy performer at Class 5 level.
Indeed, his last six runs at this grade have returned five wins, so expect Dutch Kingdom to set the standard on All-Weather footing again.

Stats and Insights
- The track at Dundalk uses a Polytrack surface, though the course is a fair setting overall. Trainers JP O’Brien, Adrian McGuinness, John C McConnell, Ger Lyons and M Halford have all had good records at Dundalk over the last five seasons.
- Newmarket can be a tricky course to overcome due to the infamous dip, long straight and uphill final flourish at the track. In the last five seasons, Charlie Appleby (97) has been the most successful trainer at Newmarket by far, though Andrew Balding, William Haggas, John & Thady Gosden and Roger Varian all have good records over the same period.
- There are left-handed bends to get around at Wolverhampton and those turns coupled with the AW surface make the venue one of the more unique settings in the UK. Tony Carroll has been the top-performing trainer at Wolverhampton over the last five seasons followed by Michael Appleby and Mark Loughnane.
