Best Roughie: Clovis Boy – Wetherby 4.10
Clovis Boy was on to a good thing at Ayr on January 2nd before he slipped and he preceded that with a win over the fences at Hexham on heavy ground over 2m 4f in November. The 5-year-old should take to the tougher test of stamina over the 3m run at Wetherby. He kept on well to win at Hexham on what was only his second handicap start and today’s step up in distance could be right in his wheelhouse.
