Tuesday’s race card line up has potential in all directions with meetings at Epsom Downs, Southwell, Wolverhampton, Yarmouth, Gowran Park and Tipperary across the UK and Ireland. Yesterday, just one of our three horses placed, though a new day brings fresh opportunity and below, you can read our latest horse racing betting tips for the day’s action.
Best Tip #1: Not Negotiable – Tipperary, 17:20
Willie Mullins has entered Not Negotiable to win the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Flat Race in the last event of the day at Tipperary and we’ve backed the 5-year-old to deliver.
Mullins won this race last year with a newcomer and he could repeat the tricky today. Not Negotiable’s sire, Kapgarde, has produced several bumper winners, so she should have what it takes to score.
Nothing Hectic is an interesting entry from Miss H McLoughlin. She was beaten by a paltry 6l at Punchestown (5th) back in December and that experience could count big today. With top jockey Derek O’Connor booked for the saddle, her chances are only heightened.
Shannon Bank is another possible contender and should be followed closely in the markets on horse racing betting sites.

Best Tip #2: Mr Bramley – Southwell, 16:40
Mr Bramley is on a roll and his last victory over timber at Carlisle on March 30th was his second win over hurdles on the spin. The 6-year-old placed second in successive races before that, so overall form is hot.
An opening mark of 121 looks malleable enough and still unexposed, he could continue his upward trajectory to complete his hattrick at Southwell today.
High Treason meanwhile, could be next in line to challenge. A win at Fontwell in a Class 4 event in February was followed by a disappointing run to ninth at Sandown last month in a Class 1 Hurdle Handicap, though High Treason drops back down the grades today and should be more comfortable as a result.
Awaythelad is another who shouldn’t be dismissed after some excellent showings at Ludlow and Leicester in January.

Best Roughie: Lihou – Epsom Downs, 14:10
Lihou hasn’t been pulling up any trees of late, however, David Evans’ steed won this renewal last year and could be inspired to produce a repeat performance on his return to the scene of that triumph today.
The 8-year-old was favoured by a high draw and he is also 7lb lower in the rankings when compared to this time last year. He has major claims here.
There has been movement in the direction of Glory Fighter on other betting apps, meanwhile. He made good on a good draw to score at Thirsk on April 9th and though he has incurred a 5lb rise since, he should be thereabouts again.
Moon Flight, who has been a solid performer on All Weather surfaces is another for shortlists ahead of his debut on turf.

Stats and Insights
- Tramore can be a testing track to handle and the flag starts there can confuse inexperienced horses. Jockeys Rachael Blackmore and Danny Mullins have enjoyed a good amount of success at Tipperary over the past five years, while Wille Mullins has been the most prolific trainer at the track over the same period.
- The track at Southwell is quite flat and narrow, and can favour the nimbler types as a consequence. Trainer Dan Skelton has enjoyed 38 wins from 191 races at Southwell over the past half a decade, while jockey Harry Skelton has been the best rider at the circuit since 2019.
- Epsom Downs is laced with sharp turns and undulations, and the camber in the home straight can be a nuisance to first timers. Trainers John & Thady Gosden have a 50%-win rate at Epsom this season while jockey Callum Shepherd has posted four victories from 13 races there so far this term.
