It’s Valentine’s Day and horse racing lovers have events at Fontwell, Hereford, Kempton and Dundalk in which to find their perfect match. Yesterday, two of our three tips won and placed, allowing us to post some nice profit. The aim is the same today and below, we’ve laid out more free horse racing tips to get you through Wednesday’s action.
Best Tip #1: Morse – Dundalk 1.40
The day’s racing at Dundalk begins with a flat race just after lunchtime and Morse is taken to deliver the goods over 1m. The 4-year-old showed improved form on a return to action at Dundalk on January 31st where a solid performance and third-place finish were achieved.
With the ring rust shed and a slight drop in trip to consider, Morse should be a leading contender here.
Elsewhere, Gioiella could be one to watch following successive second-places at Dundalk either side of the New Year.
The French import caught the eye over a 1m distance from a field of 14 last time out and deserves respect. Easy Way, meanwhile, is just outside the reckoning but has good experience at Dundalk and could be a solid each-way chance.

Best Tip #2: Amalfi Skyline – Hereford 3.30
Amalfi Skyline showed promise while finishing sixth on his chase debut at Ludlow in December, though he improved brilliantly to win at Hereford a month later in a Class 5 Handicap on good to soft ground.
Conditions and distance will be similar today and preference is for a repeat performance. A 6lb raise shouldn’t be too difficult to absorb and the 5-year-old is backed with confidence to prevail again.
The more experienced Supasunrise, who has also been attracting attention on sports betting apps, could also factor into today’s thinking. The 8-year-old has been busy and landed a first and two seconds inside his last four runs. Consideration should also be given to longer shot, Mozzaro.
Three wins on the spin is a record that deserves respect, though those wins came between November 2021 and May 2022. Still, the 9-year-old could surprise following a long break.

Best Roughie: Pilot Show – Fontwell 2.50
Pilot Show was a winner on soft ground over 3m 1f last winter on what was his chase debut and he had been building quite a head of steam before he pulled up at Warwick on January 24th.
The 7-year-old, who is trained by Warren Greatrex, had finished second in three chases on the spin before his mishap at Warwick and he can offer considerable threat if he can bounce back here.
Former French chaser Haut Folin has the potential to upset the applecart, however. The 7-year-old drops down in grade following a second-placed run over a similar distance at Ludlow, while a win at Ffos Las (Nov 12th) was recent enough to earn respect.
Eclair De Gueye is off a career-low mark today and has been running with enough merit since November to warrant a glance on horse racing betting sites.

Stats and Insights
- Dundalk has a knack for producing tight finishes due to the flatness and fairness of the track there. The Irish venue features a draw bias over sprint trips due to the early bend that runners need to negotiate. Horses with low draws can enjoy an advantage there. Dundalk also uses a Polytrack surfaces and horses with experience on that ground can excel.
- Hereford closes with a snappy downhill run, so we like our tips to be involved from the front towards the end. The right-handed circuit at Hereford is almost square shaped and it can seem like horses are forever in the middle of turning there.
- Fontwell tends to suit nippier horses due to the unique setting the track offers, so you should bear that in mind when perusing selections. The chase course is in the shape of a figure of eight, which demands both right and left turns from the entrants. Naturally, that suits the quicker, well-balanced steeds.
