Horse Racing Tips, Predictions & Best Bets – 11/03

MansionBet - Horse Racing Best Bets

We enter a new week on the back of another profitable performance and yesterday, we landed a placed effort and a 4/1 winner from our three selections thanks to How Impressive’s triumph at Southwell and Zonda’s push at Warwick. Monday’s line up of meetings at Plumpton, Stratford, Taunton and Wolverhampton looks just as promising and below, we’ve laid out our latest free horse racing betting tips for the day’s events.

Best Tip #1: Johnny Jump Up – Plumpton 2.00

In what could develop into an intriguing opener at Plumpton, Johnny Jump Up is taken to deliver on his promise by beating stablemate Cloud Dancer to the post at 2.00.

The 5-year-old was well-beaten across two Irish points previously; however, he looked the part when defying the prices to win over 2m 1f at Fontwell on January 8th in a Class 4 Novice Hurdle, eventually winning by a clear 9l. The step up in distance should be comfortable for Johnny Jump Up to handle today and he is the one to beat again.

Preference on other horse racing betting sites UK has been given to Fierce Warrior, who came first in two of his last two races. His last victory came at Plumpton over a similar trip just before Christmas, however, there is a penalty to absorb on his return and stiffer competition to overcome.

Cloud Dancer meanwhile, is trainer Gary Moore’s second entry and should go well in the good to soft conditions today.

Best Tip #2:  Just Over Land – Taunton 3.10

Just Over Land won very easily by a whopping 18l at Lingfield last month in a Class 5 Conditions Hurdle Handicap and that was his first outing post-wind surgery.

The handicapper took note and landed a 10lb hike on the 5-year-old today, though he remains a prime contender. He moves up a grade today in a tougher test, though he is still preferred to beat the rest again in the 3.10 at Taunton.

Ca Plane Pour Moi could also be worth a glance on his debut for his new yard. The 6-year-old is lightly raced and showed potential despite finishing back in 7th at Leopardstown on Boxing Day. Doyen Quest, who won at Taunton over a similar trip at the end of last month, could be an each-way option with merit, while Centara, who is also a previous winner at this circuit, also deserves respect.

Best Roughie: Thelastwinterarrow – Wolverhampton 8.30

Thelastwinterarrow could be in the reckoning at the last race at Wolverhampton today. The unexposed 4-year-old will be wearing blinkers for the first time and has fewer recent missteps than many of her rivals.

She went ok on her handicap debut at Southwell (5th) last time out, though she will run over a shorter distance today and that could well suit better.

Elsewhere, Sunset In Paris has been attracting interest across the best betting apps and will be priced as clear favourite to prevail at even money. He delivered the good on two of his last three starts and Rossa Ryan was the jockey in both of those successes.

The pair are reunited today and that could make the difference. Reformed Character is one of the better runners with each-way prospects from the rest of the field.

Stats and Insights

  • Plumpton asks for agility and speed from its entrants with the track’s fast runaround marked by sharp turns and six tricky fences. There is also an uphill final surge to navigate there in both the hurdle and chase events.
  • Taunton is on the short side in terms of length, so we want our tips to be involved from the front to avoid being left out of the reckoning. The post arrives pretty quickly after the last bend, leaving little time to make up ground in the final flourish.
  • Wolverhampton is built on a Tapeta surface and horses with previous experience at the track can often enjoy a slight advantage over those without. The course is also laced with left-handed turns, which again, can suit horses that have already been tested there.
