Horse Racing Tips, Predictions & Best Bets – 11/02

MansionBet - Horse Racing Best Bets

Yesterday, we managed to land TWO winners from our three horse racing tips for the day’s action and Sunday’s racing card brings more potential for profit with events lined up at Exeter, Lingfield and Navan.

We’ve been scouring form guides and the best betting apps to bring you more top horse racing predictions for Sunday’s schedule and below, you can pick your way through our selections.

Best Tip #1: Ramses De Teillee – Exeter 4.35

12-year-old Ramses De Teillee, who is trained by David Pipe, is well handicapped at Exeter when last season’s form is taken into account, and his creditable fourth-place finish at Warwick last month was a solid reappearance Ramses De Teillee, who is a five-time chase winner, should excel if the ground becomes testing at Exeter and he is taken to deliver the goods.

Elsewhere, Musical Slave has been drawing favour on other horse racing betting sites. The 11-year-old triumphed in last year’s renewal at Exeter and could enjoy a return to the same circuit here.

Fiddlerontheroof is also running off a favourable-looking mark, though he has it all to prove having pulled up last time out at Newbury in November 2022.

Best Tip #2:  Unavailable – Lingfield 1.57

Unavailable holds an unflattering record of 0-8 ahead of today’s 5f Handicap Flat run at Lingfield, however, she finished a very close second at the same track in late January and has placed on each of her last three starts overall.

A first win in what looks like a weak enough field could be in the offing. The Chelsea Banham-trained 3-year-old is well-versed over this distance and she is taken to finally break her duck.

Competition could arrive in the form of Smooth Silesie. The fellow 3-year-old finished second at a fair distance at Wolverhampton on February 6th, though that was only her second start for the stable and an improvement is possible.

Talking Rubbish, who has shown previous promise over C&D, could also have a shot off a reduced mark and with blinkers on for the first time.

Best Roughie: Zeeband – Navan 3.15

Zeeband is a four-time Flat race winner in the UK and is suited by runs with distance to cover, the 7-year-old is taken to shake things up over 2m 6f at Navan. Zeeband finished 3rd at Gowran Park and 2nd at Fairyhouse in his last two outings, shaping up well in the latter to finish behind the impressive Mighty Jeremy.

The tight gap between races might be a factor, though Zeeband is a stayer worth sticking with.

Clear The Clouds is an alternative option with merit. The 6-year-old was a consistent performer last summer without delivering a win and made a solid return to hurdling last month with a six-placed finish at Punchestown.

The Patrick Turley-trained Stockdale landed as runner up at Down Royal on January 23rd and could enjoy the slightly longer distance at Navan.

Stats and Insights

  • Exeter features a large track with an undulating circuit of approximately two miles. Conditions there can get very testing over the winter season and with ground hard to skate over, horses with stamina can often be the ones to watch when selecting tips.
  • The 7-furlong straight decline at Lingfield is routinely favoured and swept through up by rapid horses, so runners with sprinting ability are always worth checking out there. There is a considerable draw bias over near the high stall numbers on the straight track, which should also be factored in.
  • Conditions can also have a major impact at Navan where a testing surface can demand plenty of stamina from horses. The finish at Navan is a taxing three and a half furlongs, so staying power is required there. The fourth-last fence is followed by a bend after landing, so emerging from it fast is important.
