Horse Racing Tips, Predictions & Best Bets – 10/04

MansionBet - Horse Racing Best Bets

Wednesday’s race card line up features meetings across the UK and Ireland at Kempton, Lingfield, Market Rasen, Wolverhampton and Leopardstown, and we’re determined to get you over the hump day with full pockets. Yesterday, two of our three selections placed, though we’re aiming to go one better today. Keep reading to see our latest free horse racing betting tips.

Best Tip #1: Rosy Hope – Kempton, 5.30

Rosy Hope is the half-sister to winners Nomadic Empire, Blue Tango and Imperial Khan, and with no shortage of pedigree, the 2-year-old could be the one to watch on her debut in the day’s first race at Kempton.

Rosy Hope represents Miss A Murphy’s yard today and that stable produced some excellent juvenile results in the early exchanges of last season.

Lady Dorchester also holds some appeal and could be a contender. She has already run twice this year and though she finished fourth each time at Newcastle and Wolverhampton, her extra experience could count.

Elsewhere, Kodibeat could be another to track on betting sites for horse racing. All four of her half-siblings and her dam, were winners as 2-year-olds.

Best Tip #2: Con Te Partiro – Wolverhampton, 3.40

Con Te Patriro is hattrick hunting today following back-to-back wins at Kempton and Wolverhampton.

The 3-year-old has been improving fast since a gelding and since switching to handicaps and though he has a 4lb increase to bear, that rise doesn’t feel too significant and he can score ahead of a beatable chasing back on his return to the AW track at Wolverhampton.

The main threat to his chance could come from Ahadel. The 3-year-old has won twice from seven starts and though her last two efforts at Wolverhampton (10th & 10th) underwhelmed, she represents a form stable today.

Sneaky Blinder could be another horse to consider. He shaped up solidly at Southwell last month and could be suited by the longer trip in today’s jaunt.

Best Roughie: Kondratiev Wave – Lingfield, 2.22

Kontratiev Wave competes in what looks like an open race at Linfield and running off a competitive mark, he could be the one to back.

The 7-year-old landed second spot at Lingfield on his last outing over a slightly longer trip and the drop back in distance today could make a difference. Kondratiev Wave will have cheekpieces on again today and he is open to progression.

Ballybaymoonshiner meanwhile, has earned two wins from three races since the turn of the year and both of those victories were achieved on Polytrack over 7f. The 6-year-old also placed (2nd) on his last punt at Lingfield a little over a year ago and he must surely come into contention again here.

Alice Haynes’ charge Mashann could also be one for your shortlists and could be worth a market check on sports betting apps.

Stats and Insights

  • Kempton is listed among the flatter courses on the circuit in the UK and as a result, it can often suit the sprinting types, with stamina less of an issue. Prolific trainer Nicky Henderson already has seven wins at Kempton this season while jockey Stan Sheppard has a 44%-win rate there.
  • Wolverhampton is built on a Tapeta surface which keeps conditions there reliable. With 27 wins so far, jockey Rossa Ryan is the one to look out for at Wolverhampton, though rival Callum Shepherd has a better win rate overall (27%). Trainer Derek Shaw holds the best strike rate (27%) at Wolverhampton this season.
  • Lingfield closes with a 7-furlong straight and horses with pace can pull clear or make up ground if they are trailing ahead of the final flourish. Rossa Ryan has also been doing some good work at Linfield (nine wins), while trainer Andrew Balding (eight) has posted more victories at the course than anyone else so far this term.
