A new week of racing starts on Monday and with meetings across the UK at Lingfield, Newcastle, Wincanton and Wolverhampton to dissect, there should be ample opportunity to dig out some profit. Best Tip #1: Aerospace – Newcastle, 2.50
Aerospace impressed on his debut for new trainer Archie Watson at Wolverhampton and won in style over 1m 1f last month. That was his first appearance in nearly two years and he showed little ring rust on his comeback.
The 5-year-old will need to up the ante to win on his handicapping debut here, however, he is taken to release more of his potential at Newcastle.
Elsewhere, Westernesse looks like a possible contender and the 5-year-old has been enjoying attention on sports betting apps in the ante-post markets. H
e produced a solid enough run after nine months out to finish third at Newcastle last month and he could push again on his return to the same circuit. Loyal Touch meanwhile, was a winner of a Class 4 race at Newcastle last month and is up just 2lb higher here.

Best Tip #2: Only Fools – Wincanton, 4.38
Only Fools won well at Fontwell over 2m 3f on March 18 and came close to landing a follow-up victory at Hereford shortly after while bearing a small penalty.
Trainer David Pipe will have her ready to go again at Wincanton and despite moving up another 2lb in the rankings, the 5-year-old has the potential to be thereabouts in the day’s penultimate race.
The obvious danger comes from Robber’s Bridge, who was a winner at Wincanton as recently as March 7th. There is a 6lb rise to absorb, whoever Simon Earle’s charge could be the one to beat.
Moytier has track experience on his side on his return to hurdling having run at Wincanton in four of his last five efforts, winning once. The 7-year-old drops down a grade today and could be another for shortlists.

Best Roughie: My Brother Mike – Lingfield, 2.00
My Brother Mike won for the ninth time in his career last month when he scored at Southwell in a Class 6 Handicap under talented amateur jockey Adam O’Shea.
The pair are reunited at Lingfield today and despite carrying a 6lb increase, further progress looks possible. The 10-year-old will need a career-best run at Bath to succeed, though he is fancied to deliver.
In an open-looking race, Swiss Pride has been showing up with the tightest prices on horse racing betting sites. The 8-year-old has wins under his belt, though they’ve all come over 6f and the step up in distance today promises to test his stamina.
Rabinal meanwhile, has already won twice at Linfield this year, but also needs to prove himself over a longer trip today.

- The track at Newcastle ends with a testing uphill final surge which can ask questions of a horse’s stamina levels. Jockey Paul Mulrennan has posted 16 wins at Newcastle this season while Jim Goldie (12) has been the best trainer at the track so far this term.
- There are three fences in quick succession near the end at Wincanton and that challenge tends to suit the more confident jumpers. Jockey Harry Cobden has a superb 42% strike rate at Wincanton this term while trainer Nicky Henderson has won with 50% of his entries at the track.
- There is a 7 furlong downhill straight at Lingfield and rapid runners can make up plenty of ground through that section. Jockey Rossa Ryan needs just one more win at Lingfield to break double figures this season. Trainer Dylan Cunha has the best win rate at the circuit so far (31%).
