Harlow has some tasty looking open race puzzles to solve, as always a good mix of four and six-bend races on the slate with both maidens and more experienced dogs all in action.
Suzie to Prove Hard to Beat
Troy Suzieeq was a very impressive winner over Harlow’s 592m trip back in August, clocking a smart 37.94. She has not managed to quite make it back to that level since for David Mullins but this is an easier assignment.
Last seen in a semi-final for the £10,000 to the winner Champion Stakes at Romford, she should find the 8.43 here much more to her liking and can get back to winning ways.
Azzurro to Make Rivals Blue
Although Stradeen Azzurro lacks a prior look at Harlow, he is taken to make it a double on the card for Mullins in the 7.44. There is not a lot of early pace outside him in traps two and three so he should be able to get a nice sight of the hare.
A track is always easier to learn when out on the bunny than trying to come from behind so this draw can help him, with his best Romford runs setting a decent standard.
Vincent to Land the Monkey Final
Paul Vincent has Kiluran Rastaman in excellent shape at present, winning five of his last six races over both the 238m and 415m trips here. He was a wide-margin scorer of his heat for this £500 finals last week and can repeat the dose.
Monfin Rose in trap two was quicker in the heats but that run is her fastest time here. It’s 14 months since she has gotten anywhere close to that so she has to prove she can do that again so Rastaman is preferred in the 8.03.
York Has Quadrilateral in Winning Shape
It’s been a while since Quadrilateral last got her head in front. This looks a great opportunity for her to right that wrong with a tidy draw on the inside of the 8.23 field for Roger York.
She has done her best work when clad in red at this track and with one without a prior look outside her in two and a dog who moved out right from three last time in that same slot, she should have the inside to herself.
Jet to Blast to Six-Bend Victory
Moss Row Jet is yet to run over a trip as far as the 592m she tries here but she has been doing her best work late on over the 415m trip at this track, shaping as if she is well worth a try.
She has a smart rival to take on in the form of Vinegarhill John in trap 1 but his draw is closer to the rail than that hound enjoys and he lacks a look here so Phil Ward’s local can use that track knowledge to her benefit in the 7.24.
