Finishing in the mid-table in the Premier League may not be top of every side’s agenda at the start of the season but for Brentford, that remains their top objective each year. Thomas Frank’s side have impressed again this year, and they host Brighton this weekend, in what should be a very good game. Elsewhere, West Ham have endured a tough campaign but host lowly Southampton, who are already packing their bags for a return to the Championship, while goals could be on the agenda as Crystal Palace and Bournemouth lock horns at Selhurst Park.
Crystal Palace vs Bournemouth – Draw
13/5 at Rhino Bet
It was a tough weekend for Crystal Palace last time out, as they squandered a 2-goal lead against Manchester City, ending up on the receiving end of a thumping. Next up is a clash with Bournemouth, a side that have been mightily impressive this term and they will be chasing more points in their pursuit of European football next year. Both sides have plenty of goals in their ranks and with relegation nowhere near the agenda for either of them, a high-scoring draw looks the way to go for most punters and EPL betting sites.
West Ham United vs Southampton – West Ham United to win
1/2 at Betzone
Graham Potter has struggled to make the desired impact at West Ham since his appointment in January, but he will be chasing three points here against Southampton. Saints have been way off the pace all year and with relegation confirmed, they are preparing for life back in the Championship next term. For the Hammers, next season looms large too, but they need to pick up a couple of points to secure their Premier League status for next year and they should do that in front of their expectant home fans in this one.
Brentford vs Brighton – Draw
14/5 at Rhino Bet
Two sides that continually punch above their weight in the Premier League meet here, as Brentford and Brighton do battle in West London. Another excellent result on the road at Arsenal last time out felt significant for Brentford, who have showed real resolve throughout the campaign, and they evolve into a bigger threat in the Premier League every season. Brighton meanwhile missed an opportunity to pick up points against Leicester City last weekend but have too enjoyed a good season and could well be in the European places come the end of the campaign. There is very little to split these sides on paper and a draw could well be how this one ends up.
