Attention turns to the sides chasing valuable points for their respective endeavours over the final few weeks of the Premier League season this weekend. Bournemouth will be looking to continue their top 4 push, as they welcome relegation threatened Wolves to the Vitality Stadium. Elsewhere, Brighton are riding the crest of a wave currently and they will be looking to take that confidence to south coast rivals Southampton, whilst Fulham host Crystal Palace in what should be an entertaining London derby.
Bournemouth vs Wolves – Bournemouth to win
4/6 at Rhino Bet
Not many people predicted that Bournemouth would be in the hunt for a top 4 finish come the end of the campaign but here in February, the Cherries are firmly in the Champions League mixer. Next up is a meeting with Wolves, a side that have been kicking on under new manager Vitor Pereira but who still remain firmly entrenched in the relegation battle and in need of points. This should be a much closer one than the odds suggest but Bournemouth have been excellent at home all season and they should prevail here for most punters and EPL betting sites.
Southampton vs Brighton – Brighton to win
5/8 at Betzone
Following a 7-0 thumping at Nottingham Forest, Brighton have been able to show serious resilience and have picked up back-to-back wins over Chelsea, in the FA Cup and in the Premier League. Next up is a shuffle along the south coast to rivals Southampton, who have endured an awful Premier League campaign thus far and who are slipping back into the Championship at a rate of knots. On paper, this will be one-way traffic and whilst Southampton should put up a decent fight at home, Brighton should have the confidence and the firepower to pick them off with ease.
Fulham vs Crystal Palace – Fulham to win
11/10 at Rhino Bet
Marco Silva’s Fulham side are motoring along nicely this season and having overcome Nottingham Forest last weekend, the Cottagers will be looking for a repeat showing here against Crystal Palace. Fulham haven’t always picked up the results their performances have warranted this term, but their home form has been very good, and they always look to get the ball down and play. Crystal Palace meanwhile succumbed to a late loss at the hands of Everton last time out and they will want to bounce back on the road. However, Fulham are a side in decent nick, and they should pick up three more points in front of their home fans.
