Liverpool had their wings clipped a touch last time out, clinging on to pinch a draw against Newcastle and they know things will be tough again here, as they travel across the Stanley Park to Everton. Elsewhere, Aston Villa got back to winning ways last time out against Brentford and they will be looking for the same again here against Southampton, whilst Manchester United will be looking to bounce back from their defeat to Arsenal, as they take on Nottingham Forest at home.
Everton vs Liverpool – Liverpool to win
4/9 at Rhino Bet
The Merseyside derby is on the agenda here for Everton and Liverpool, as the old foes prepare to lock horns at a raucous Goodison Park. For the Toffees, this is a great chance to build on their excellent win over Wolves last time out and confidence in the camp should be relatively high. Liverpool arrive at Goodison comfortably top of the league, but they were given a good going over by Newcastle in midweek and they will need to respond here. Derbies can present a multitude of scenarios, but Liverpool are being backed to the hilt here by many punters and EPL betting sites.
Aston Villa vs Southampton – Aston Villa to win
6/13 at Betzone
It had been a rough 8 games without a win for Aston Villa in all competitions prior to their midweek win over Brentford and they will want to keep that run of form going as they take on Southampton. Villa are in the top 4 shake up in the Premier League this season but know that they need to put a run of form together quickly to stop the gap to the sides above them growing. Southampton meanwhile were hammered by Chelsea in midweek and look to have plenty of problems within their ranks. This may not be pretty for the Saints and Villa should romp to three more points here.
Manchester United vs Nottingham Forest – Manchester United to win
8/11 at Rhino Bet
Ruben Amorim suffered his first defeat in charge of Manchester United last time out at Arsenal and needs a response quickly. The Red Devils host Nottingham Forest next, a side sat above them in the table, and they know that they have work to do if they are to climb in the European picture come the end of the season. Forest have been plugging away this term but losses to Arsenal, Newcastle and Manchester City have clipped their wings a touch. Nottingham Forest will give this a go but Manchester United should prevail at home.
