The first trophy of the 2023/24 English football season has been bagged by Liverpool and the reds remain in the box seat to win a quadruple of titles this term. For all the superlatives levelled at Liverpool, there is plenty of work to do for every side in the Premier League, with the race to finish inside the top 4 hotting up too, as Tottenham and Aston Villa play Crystal Palace and Luton Town respectively, on a potentially decisive day of EPL action.
Nottingham Forest vs Liverpool – Liverpool to win & BTTS.
7/4 at Betzone
Yet another triumphant week for Liverpool has been lauded over by all associated with the club, as Jurgen Klopp’s miracle working kids managed to overcome Chelsea in the Carabao Cup Final. They will be full of confidence as they now head to Nottingham Forest, having also picked up an incredible win over Championship side Southampton in the FA Cup in midweek and confidence in the camp should be brimming. Forest did beat Liverpool in this fixture last season and have plenty to play for themselves with the small matter of a relegation scrap to contend with, but Liverpool are flying, and they should see off the Tricky Trees here.
Tottenham vs Crystal Palace – Tottenham to win & BTTS.

Having enjoyed a two-week break, Tottenham should be refreshed and ready to go here, as they take on Crystal Palace at home. Spurs now sit 5 points behind Aston Villa in the race for a top 4 spot, but they do have a game in hand and Ange Postecoglou is unlikely to be panicking just yet. Meanwhile, Crystal Palace are under a new manager in Oliver Glasner, who has promised goals galore at Selhurst Park and he will see this one as a completely free hit. That liberation could help Palace trouble Tottenham, but Spurs are a good side, who should come out on top here.
Luton Town vs Aston Villa – Aston Villa to win & BTTS.
21/10 at Rhino Bet
Aston Villa have been one of the teams to watch this season with many punters and EPL betting sites, and they now have a lead to protect in the race to finish inside the top 4. Key to their recent success has been their regular goalscoring, something they will need here as they travel to Luton Town. The Hatters still have a serious job on their hands if they are to stay up this season but Rob Edwards’s side fear nobody and this should be a great game for the neutral, with Villa likely to have too much fire power.
