The chasing pack in behind Liverpool at the top of the Premier League table is assembling and there are a whole host of sides looking to cash in, should Arne Slot’s rampant reds hit a bump in the road this term. Chelsea picked up a hard earned point on the road at Everton last time out and will want to get back to winning ways against Fulham, Newcastle and Aston Villa meet in a whopper in the North East, whilst Bournemouth host Crystal Palace.
Chelsea vs Fulham – Chelsea to win
1/2 at Rhino Bet
Enzo Maresca has been doing a stellar job at Chelsea so far this season and he will be looking to keep momentum going as they host local rivals Fulham. The blues are firmly in the Premier League title race and with plenty of money invested in their squad, they have the personnel to mount a challenge at the top of the tree. Fulham have also been going well this season under Marco Silva and they have given plenty of the bigger sides a run for their money. Beating their old foes Chelsea at Stamford Bridge is the stuff of dreams for any cottager but the need for points over the festive period is big and Chelsea are firm favourites here with most punters and EPL betting sites.
Newcastle United vs Aston Villa – Draw
3/1 at Betzone
Two sides looking to force their way into the European places come the end of the campaign meet here, as Newcastle and Aston Villa lock horns at St James’s Park. Toon have picked up form in recent weeks, scoring goals for fun and a top 6 challenge looks to be firmly within their remit. Aston Villa have huffed and puffed a touch this season but a deserved win over Manchester City last weekend could give all associated with the club a huge boost. Toon will be favourites at home, but Villa are going pretty well this season, and it could end up as an entertaining draw in the North East.
Bournemouth vs Crystal Palace – Bournemouth to win
1/1 at Rhino Bet
High-flying Bournemouth are another side dreaming of cracking the European places this term and the Cherries will want to keep their good run going against Crystal Palace. Having seen off the likes of Arsenal and both Manchester clubs this season, Bournemouth are beginning to look like a real force in the Premier League and they have some incredible young talent in their ranks. Crystal Palace have suffered with plenty of injuries this term and are in a relegation battle following their thrashing by Arsenal last weekend. This should be a good one, with Bournemouth most likely to pick up three important points.
