Christmas is notoriously the busiest time of the year in the Premier League and the action looks set to intensify once again over the next couple of weeks. This Sunday sees 5 games on the card, all of which promising thrills, spills and of course, goals. Brighton are finding consistency tricky to come by at the moment, but they will be looking to get back on track at home to Crystal Palace. Tottenham are in the same boat in terms of stringing results together and they visit Southampton whilst title challengers Chelsea host West London rivals Brentford.
Brighton vs Crystal Palace – Joao Pedro to score anytime
7/4 at Betzone
It has been a frustrating start to the season for Joao Pedro, who has seen his campaign blighted by injury and the former Watford man will be ready to rock over Christmas. He is a natural born goal scorer, and his movement and pace makes it very tough for defenders playing against him. Managing more than 70 minutes in a game has been an issue for Pedro of late, who is still easing his way back to full fitness, but a recent run of games will have helped him and with Brighton desperate to get one over their rivals Palace, Pedro could prove to be the difference maker for the Seagulls.
Southampton vs Tottenham – Dominic Solanke to score anytime
13/10 at Rhino Bet
In all the chaos of Tottenham’s 4-3 defeat to Chelsea last weekend, Dominic Solanke’s opening goal may have been lost but it is another indicator of the form he is in at the moment. Tottenham may be seriously struggling defensively but Solanke has started to justify his heavy summer price tag, and he will be leading the line once again for Spurs here. Southampton are showing a few signs of improvement in the Premier League and will be looking to ruffle a few Spurs feathers, but Solanke will be a constant threat, who could well bag again.
Chelsea vs Brentford – Cole Palmer to score anytime
4/5 at Rhino Bet
Few players have enjoyed the impact that Cole Palmer has in the Premier League over the past couple of seasons and the former Manchester City man will be chomping at the bit to get going again here for Chelsea. A Premier League title push is being talked about for the blues, who have a squad packed with some of the most exciting and expensive talents in European football and they will be eager to get one over their West London rivals here. Brentford are a good side and won’t go down easily but the flair of Palmer could prove to be the difference in this one for many punters and EPL betting sites.
