The Premier League picture continues to develop this term, as Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City attempt to cut away from the chasing pack. For the chasing pack, each weekend is an opportunity to claw back some points, and the likes of Aston Villa, Chelsea and Tottenham are all in hot pursuit of the top 3. Elsewhere, two sides who have struggled so far this term in Wolves and Crystal Palace face off, in what should be a cagey affair in the West Midlands.
Newcastle United vs Arsenal – Arsenal to win
21/20 at Rhino Bet
Losing to Bournemouth has derailed Arsenal a touch this term, as Mikel Arteta continues to try and shuffle his pack and deal with the injury crisis that has been sweeping over the club. Next up is a very tricky looking trip to the North East to take on Newcastle, a side that got the better of them last season and who have started the campaign pretty well themselves. Toon lost to Brighton in their last home game and their fans will want a response but the Gunners should come out on top in this one and get their Premier League title bid back on track with most punters and EPL betting sites.
Liverpool vs Brighton – Liverpool to win
4/9 at Betzone
With another win in the Champions League in the bag against RB Leipzig, Liverpool are in rampant form under Arne Slot and Brighton are the next side to try and knock them off their perch. The reds are in great form, scoring goals at will and keeping things tight at the back and who knows how far they can go this term. Brighton meanwhile have been enjoying a superb start to the 2024/25 Premier League season and a European football push looks to be fully within their grasp this term. However, Liverpool are too strong for most at home, and they should pick up three more points here.
Wolves vs Crystal Palace – Draw
5/2 at Rhino Bet
Wolves and Crystal Palace have both endured starts of the season that they will be keen to forget, and they will see this as a chance to get back on track, against (for the time being at least), a relegation rival. Wanderers have been on the wrong end of some decisions this season, but performances have been lacking in quality too and Gary O’Neill knows he is a man under pressure. The same could be said of Oliver Glasner at Crystal Palace and the Eagles also need to start putting points on the board quickly. Not losing will be the key here for both sides and it could transpire to be a draw here at Molyneux.
