It’s certainly been a long time coming, but now the Mildmay Novices’ Steeplechase is almost upon us. This Grand National event is a favourite for horse racing punters because of how unpredictable it is. You can back a horse with long odds and stand a fair chance of winning big.
Held annually at Aintree, this event was established in 1981 and was upgraded to Grade One status in 2014. The nineteen hurdles racers have to jump on the three-mile course make this an exciting watch.

Mildmay Novices’ Steeplechase Tips, Predictions and Previews

He may have benefitted from the fall of Envoi Allen, but that’s not to take away from CHANTRY HOUSE as he was a meritorious winner of last month’s Marsh Novices’ Chase at Cheltenham. He can likely confirm that form with the likes of Shan Blue, too forcefully ridden there, and looks like he’ll relish this increased trip. Sporting John was a faller in the Brown Advisory, a race in which Fiddlerontheroof finished best of the rest behind Monkfish, with Colin Tizzard-trained stablemate The Big Breakaway third. The former has finished second five times in six chase starts. Espoir de Romay’s only defeat in three chase starts saw him finish second to Royale Pagaille and he’s got something to offer again.
