The Epsom Oaks is a Group 1 flat race for 3-year-old fillies and is run over a distance of 1-mile 4-furlongs.
The Oaks is second-oldest of the five Classic races and is the middle leg of the Fillies’ Triple Crown. The race is scheduled to take place each year at the end of May or start of June and is part of the Derby Festival.
The 2021 winner Snowfall set the record for the biggest winning distance in the history of the race as she won by 16 lengths.
