Whilst the international break has thrown up its usual assortment of thrills and spills, domestic league action is back on the agenda until 2025 and there is work to do for plenty of sides. Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea will be looking to cash in on Manchester City and Arsenal dropping points, as they travel to Leicester City. Meanwhile, the aforementioned City and Arsenal are in danger of being cut adrift in the Premier League title race and they have tricky looking home games this weekend, against Tottenham and Nottingham Forest respectively.
Leicester City vs Chelsea – Chelsea to win
8/13 at Rhino Bet
It has been a curious start to the season for Chelsea, who continue to battle away in the race for the top 4. They picked up a solid point at home to Arsenal last weekend and will be eager to back that one up against Leicester City this weekend. The Foxes were undone by Manchester United last weekend but have enjoyed a decent start to the new campaign and they should give their former manager Enzo Maresca a vocal reception here on his return to the King Power Stadium. This will be a tight one, but Chelsea are going pretty well and they should come out on top here, a view shared by most punters and EPL betting sites.
Arsenal vs Nottingham Forest – Arsenal to win
4/11 at Rhino Bet
Having failed to win in their last 4 Premier League games, Arsenal are a side under the pump, and they will have another stern test here against Nottingham Forest. The Gunners have endured a mini injury crisis but would have expected to pick up more points than this by this stage in the campaign and they need to get back on track. Nottingham Forest meanwhile have started the season in fine fettle, although a loss to Newcastle United last weekend could check their progress. Arsenal need a win, and they should bag one here.
Manchester City vs Tottenham – Draw
4/1 at Betzone
Two sides enduring a tough time of things currently meet here, as Manchester City host Tottenham. City still second in the league but losing 4 games in the spin in all competitions is their worst run of form since 2006 and the sharks are circling for Pep Guardiola and his men. Tottenham’s poor start has been masked by the struggles of other sides in recent times and they need to click into gear, having lost to Ipswich Town last time out. Spurs have had the wood over City in recent times and this could be an entertaining draw at the Etihad.
