Horse Racing Tips, Predictions & Best Bets – 12/11

MansionBet - Horse Racing Best Bets

Tuesday’s race card line-up features a set of five exciting meetings across the UK and Ireland at Hereford, Huntingdon, Lingfield, Southwell and Fairyhouse, giving punters plenty to look forward to. As per the usual routine, we’ve done some deep analysis to bring you a selection of horse racing betting for the day’s action, including an 20/1 long shot at Lingfield. View our latest tips below.

Best Tip #1: Noble Miss – Huntingdon, 15:45

Noble Miss impressed on her debut here at Huntingdon in October when she beat all to record a victory on her first outing.

Rae Guest’s flat-bred filly has been nudged up 7lb in the ratings since, but still can’t be discounted and returning to the scene of her opening triumph, the 3-year-old is backed to follow up ahead of five others.

Elsewhere, Lady Tadita, who will represent Jamie Snowden’s stable for the first time, could be another name to consider on the best betting sites for horse racing.

The £30,000 purchase is related to some useful performers and this trainer knows how to breed strong bumper sorts. Expect a big effort from Lady Tadita here.

Best Tip #2: Stellar Story – Fairyhouse, 13:42

Today’s third race at Fairyhouse is shaping up to be a ding-dong battle between two Gordon Elliott-trained horses, though we’re giving the nod to Stellar Story, who has been chosen by jockey Jack Kennedy.

The 7-year-old won the Albert Bartlett at Cheltenham in March as an outsider and was far from disgraced in another Listed race at Punchestown after that (4th). Stellar Story looks like the classiest operator here.

Elliott’s Will Do looks best positioned to challenge his stablemate. The two-time winning hurdler showcased promise in back-to-back third place finishes at Galway in October, and with the addition of cheek pieces today, the 7-year-old could make further strides to finish behind Stellar Story.

Best Roughie: Knockanore – Lingfield, 13:35

Knockanore hasn’t won a race since taking the spoils in a Class 4 Novice Hurdle at Ffos Las back in April 2024, however, there have been some promising performances since.

The 7-year-old finished 5th in a Class 3 Novice Chase Handicap, again at Ffos Las, when last seen and dropping back down a grade today could bring him back to the fore at Lingfield over a similar trip.

Hurlerontheditch meanwhile, could offer an alternative, albeit at a tighter price on the best betting apps.

The 8-year-old has yet to win in seven attempts over fences, however, he looked much better when finishing second at Wetherby last time out and remains well-treated ahead of his latest outing at Lingfield.

Stats and Insights

  • Huntingdon is a flat, wide setting and features sweeping bends. The layout of the track tends to suit horses with extra zip. Trainers Fergal O’Brien, Dan Skelton, Ben Pauling, Gary Moore and Olly Murphy have all had good records here over the last five seasons.
  • The track at Fairyhouse isn’t too testing, however, there is a slight uphill finish to navigate, so extra stamina can come in handy. Willie Mullins (98 wins) and Gordon Elliott (81 wins) have been the two most dominant trainers at Fairyhouse in recent campaigns.
  • The track at Lingfield features a 7 furlong downhill sprinting straight which tends to suit the quicker horses, so look for rapid runners when surfing the markets here. Horses trained by Gary Moore have been setting the standard at Lingfield over the last five jump race seasons.
