Horse Racing Tips, Predictions & Best Bets – 11/11

MansionBet - Horse Racing Best Bets

Monday’s race card is an exclusively British affair with meetings scheduled to take place across the UK at Carlisle, Kempton, Newcastle and Wolverhampton. Ahead of the action, we’ve been poring over formbooks and performing in-depth analysis to find you three of the best horse racing betting tips for Monday’s card. View our selections below.

Best Tip #1: Pic Roc – Carlisle, 12:00

Pic Roc heads to Carlisle to race for the first time since the spring, though the 6-year-old should make light of his lengthy absence to feature prominently in this Handicap Chase event.

Ben Pauling’s charge was in solid form earlier this year and followed up a win at Ascot in a Novice Hurdle in February with successive runs to second at Sandown. Expect Pic Roc to be firmly in the mix again here.

Elsewhere, Dan Skelton’s Asta La Pasta looks like the next-best candidate. The previous bumper winner delivered the goods in three novice hurdle races last term and returned for the autumn with a decent showing at Ffos Las in October (3rd).

Moving back up in trip should suit the 6-year-old today and he is easily worth tracking on the best horse racing betting sites.

Best Tip #2: Ikigai Star – Kempton, 16:00

Ikigai Star has been showing promise since switching stables to Charlie Longsdon’s yard in the spring and has won two of his last four races.

The 4-year-old has been in action twice since September, running to second at Worcester before going one better to triumph at Southwell in a Class 4 Hurdle Handicap over 2m in early October. Today’s race is similar in standard and trip, and though he has been nudged up 2lb, he is taken to perform again.

Sanitiser, who is trained by G & J Moore, should also enter calculations. The 5-year-old hasn’t won a race since September 2022, though he has come close on more than one occasion since and shaped up well to finish second at Fontwell when last seen in September. Sanitiser has the potential to produce another big run here.

Best Roughie: Boy George – Wolverhampton, 18:45

Boy George was a back-to-back winner at Bath and Windsor in Class 6 company in July and August and though his form has dropped off since, he can still make an impact at Wolverhampton today. Representing the Ffrench Davis stable, the 7-year-old didn’t shine at Kempton when last out (7th), though he still looks overpriced for today’s effort on the best betting apps in the UK and is worth a punt.

Pysanka meanwhile, is a course specialist at Wolverhampton and familiar surroundings could count in his favour again today.

The 5-year-old will race at Wolverhampton for the fourth time in a row later and a record of 1-2-3 from his last three runs here indicate he has a good shot at being in the frame again over an identical distance (1m 4f).

Stats and Insights

  • The circuit at Carlisle is one of the more unorthodox courses in the UK and the one and half mile run can be best described as pear-shaped. Trainers Donald McCain, Nicky Richards and Jonjo O’Neill have all had good success at Carlisle in recent seasons.
  • Kempton is among the flatter courses in the UK and it tends to suit sprinters, with stamina slightly less important. Trainers Nicky Henderson, Paul Nicholls and Dan Skelton are the names to watch out for at Kempton.
  • Built on a Tapeta surface, the All-Weather track at Wolverhampton is a fair setting, though it has left-handed bends which are unusual in the UK. Jockeys Rossa Ryan, Luke Morris, Hollie Doyle, David Probert and Jack Mitchell all know what it takes to win at Wolverhampton.
