The third round of fixtures in the Champions League throws up another intriguing mix of games, with some of the front runners for European glory in the mix. 2023 finalists Inter Milan find themselves hitting the road at Young Boys of Switzerland. Elsewhere, Liverpool will be looking to continue their good run of form on their travels at RB Leipzig, whilst German champions Bayer Leverkusen take on French minnows Brest – who have caused quite a stir in the competition so far.
Young Boys vs Inter Milan – Inter Milan to win.
2/5 at Betzone
It has been a very strong start to the season for Inter Milan and the Italian giants will be looking to keep the momentum ticking over, as they travel across the border to Switzerland to take on Young Boys. The Swiss outfit have been on the end of a couple of hidings so far in the Champions League this season and the prospect of Inter Milan being in town next probably won’t thrill them. Inter are never too expansive but they should have more than enough talent in their ranks to prevail here.
RB Leipzig vs Liverpool – Liverpool to win.

Everything looks to be going very well for Arne Slot at Liverpool, but he knows his reds side have a tough tie on their hands here, as they hit the road for Germany – to take on RB Leipzig. Runs through to the knockout stages of the Champions League in recent seasons have been frequent for Leipzig and they look to be a side capable to challenging the big boys – particularly at home in front of their fans. However, Liverpool will be bang up for this challenge and they should have the tools to overcome Leipzig here.
Brest vs Bayer Leverkusen – Bayer Leverkusen to win.
1/2 at Fitzdares
Two wins from two games played have propelled Brest to the front and centre of many people’s thinking in the Champions League but things are about to get much tougher for the French side. Bayer Leverkusen were the dominant force in German football last season and Xabi Alonso has his troops ready to rock again this term and this should be a game in which they can demonstrate all of their attacking flair. Brest look to be well organised and won’t give this one away, but 2002 finalists Leverkusen should be able to prevail here.
