Following an enthralling opening round of Champions League fixtures, the cut and thrust of the competition returns and there are some more fantastic games on the card. Arsenal taking on PSG looks set to be the pick of the bunch, in what should be a whopper at the Emirates, whilst Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund will be chasing home wins against AC Milan and Celtic respectively.
Arsenal vs PSG – Arsenal to win.
5/6 at Betzone
Following their incredible Premier League win over Leicester City last time out, the domestic champions-elect Arsenal take on French giants PSG next. The Gunners have been in fine fettle so far this term and Mikel Arteta has got his side ticking once again this term and they will be pushing to pick up silverware in both the Champions League and the Premier League. PSG will see this as a very stern test in relation to their aspirations and whilst they could trouble Arsenal, the North Londoners should pick up an important win here.
Bayer Leverkusen vs AC Milan – Bayer Leverkusen to win.
7/10 at Rhino Bet
German champions Bayer Leverkusen are going well again under Xabi Alonso this term and they will want to continue that rich vein of form against AC Milan here. Drawing with Bayern Munich last time out will be confidence boosting for Leverkusen and who knows how far they could go in the Champions League this term. AC Milan picked up an important derby win over Inter in September, and they are looking in decent nick in Serie A, despite losing to Liverpool in the Champions League last time out. This will be tight, but the smart money looks to be on Leverkusen in this one.
Borussia Dortmund vs Celtic – Borussia Dortmund to win.
1/2 at Fitzdares
2024 finalists Borussia Dortmund picked up a solid win over Club Brugge in their opener and they welcome Celtic to Germany next. Dortmund have been in decent nick so far this term and with so many quality operators in their ranks, they will take this to Celtic from the outset. Scottish champions Celtic will be bang up for this challenge and Brendan Rodgers will set his team up intelligently, but Dortmund should have too much in reserve in front of their home fans here.
