We’ve reached the hump of the week, however, with meetings at Goodwood, Kempton, Perth, Redcar and Listowel across the UK and Ireland combining to fill up Wednesday’s race card, there is a good chance we can get through midweek with a profitable push.
Yesterday, two of our three selections placed, though we resume our search for winners with our latest horse racing betting tips below.
Best Tip #1: Gaucher – Listowel, 14:35
The Seamus Mulvaney Bookmaker Novice Hurdle at Listowel today could easily develop into a head-to-head between Gaucher and Le Coq Hardi, though we’ve given the nod to the former.
A comfortable winner at Punchestown in 8th, Wille Mullins’ charge slipped to 4th at the Galway Festival in a race that Le Coq Hardi landed second in, however, today’s track looks like a better fit and the 5-year-old is taken to reverse the finishing order this time.
Henry De Bromhead will expect another concerted push from his Le Coq Hardi, meanwhile. A winner at Down Royal in May and Roscommon in July, the 5-year-old carries a double penalty into today’s race, though he is moving back down in grade and still warrants plenty of respect.
Beyond these two, pickings are slim for this one on the best horse racing betting sites.

Best Tip #2: Passion And Glory – Goodwood, 16:05
Passion And Glory comes equipped with the top rating ahead of today’s Foundation Stakes at Goodwood, though markets have been kind to the 8-year-old so far, who can be backed at an attractive price to beat all.
Passion And Glory was in peak form when winning a Class 2 Handicap at Ascot last time out and should be right in the mix again here if that kind of performance can be replicated.
Elsewhere, Botanical is also likely to be in the frame. The 4-year-old won a tough handicap race at York in the summer and returned to that track to finish second on his last outing.
Making his stable debut today for George Boughey, Botanical can be expected to be among the pace setters. Ralph Beckett’s Macduff is another name to watch on his first return to action since being gelded.

Best Roughie: Yazaman – Redcar, 17:05
Yazaman went quite a while without a win, however, a triumph in a Class 6 Handicap in May triggered a surge of four victories on the bounce at the same level.
A return from eight weeks out finished with a disappointing 6th at Leicester when last seen earlier this month, however, with the cobwebs blown off, an improvement could be in the works today for Paul Midgley’s contender and the 6-year-old could be worth a go on sports betting apps at a big price.
Hattrick-chasing Maris Angel is the obvious danger and cosy favourite in the ante-post markets. She has a record of two wins from two in the handicapping sphere, with both successes secured in a productive September.
She won easily at Redcar just eight days ago and it looked like she had more to give on that occasion. Maris Angel could be tough to top on her return to the same course.
