We’ve had a hugely successful run of late and we’re determined to pick out some more prime selections for your punting pleasure here. Check out our latest expert horse racing betting tips below.

Best Tip #1: Tactical Affair – Ffos Las, 1.40

Tactical Affair finished second on his recent stable debut at Warwick and building on that effort, Warren Greatrex’s five-year-old is taken to go one better in the first race at Ffos Las.

With a rating of 124, Tactical Affair moves slightly up in trip today, which could be ideal after his strong finish at Warwick on March 10th.

Other horse racing betting sites UK have given their preference to favourite Tommy’s Charm. the 6-year-old impressed to win at Chepstow on his rules debut in late February and he could continue his progress today.

Patriotik, who landed second spot at Fakenham last month, might also make some shortlists if improvement is found.

Best Tip #2: Bolsover Bill – Market Rasen, 2.09

Harry Derham’s Bolsover Bill gets the vote in the first race at Market Rasen today. The 7-year-old is in his career-best form having posted successive victories at Exeter since the turn of the year and despite moving back up in trip today, he is worth backing to complete his hattrick.

Everthing’sontick meanwhile, has tasted success in two of his last three efforts over fences, one of which was in a tough Class 4 Chase Handicap at Leicester last November.

He won at Plumpton in his last outing in February and running off the same mark today, he should be right in the mix.

Best Roughie: Donne Devito – Cork, 5.15

Donnie Devito ended up in third in a Sligo bumper last October and made another splash in his stable debut to finish in the same position at Fairyhouse on New Year’s Day.

He moves back up in trip today to tackle the course at Cork, however, he could be the one to watch at a bigger price. Conditions should be similar to Fairyhouse and Donnie Devito looks capable of landing a place at the very least.

Jackson Wood meanwhile, has been backed into evens on betting apps and despite not being as well-bred as some of his stable mates, he could have more class than his opponents today.

Willie Mullins likes to send out unraced runners to land debut wins, so don’t be surprised if the €95,000 matches that trend.

Stats and Insights

  • Ffos Las is a track for the gallopers due to the circuit’s layout and strong runners can build up a head of steam quickly there. Trainer Kerry Lee has a 60% strike rate at Ffos Las this season while jockey Kielan Woods has won 38% of his races there this term.
  • Market Rasen is a right-handed oval run that suits the speedier types. The tricky turns can sometimes slow the long striders down. Jockey Sean Bowen and trainer Fergal O’Brien are the ones to look out for at Market Rasen.
  • The track at Cork is level and fair, which can make races there more open than elsewhere. With Cork situated in Ireland’s south west, weather can be patchy. The season at Cork is still in its infancy, though trainer Andrew Slattery leads the way there with two wins so far.
